Meet The Celebrity Authors Behind the Books

Scott E. Flowers Distinguished Engineer & Author Scott E. Flowers was born in 1957 near Dayton, OH and has been living most of his adult life in the eastern suburbs of Cleveland. He has a wife of 18 years and has been a dedicated parent to his three daughters and son. With a degree in electrical engineering, he has spent most of his career in the computer software field. Scott has never considered himself an author, and he has joked many times that while in college all good engineers considered English an elective.

Life took a sharp turn for Scott in 1998. One of his daughters, Brittney, was diagnosed with a serious brain tumor, and she died after a nine-month battle with the deadly disease. A few weeks after she died, Scott felt the need to tell about Brittney’s life through pictures and music. He developed an interactive computer CD that contains hundreds of photos synchronized to music, along with video clips. He made these CDs available to Brittney’s classmates and friends as a tribute in her memory. As the one-year anniversary of Brittney’s death was approaching, Scott began to sense that God was telling him to write his daughters story. So he did. The initial intention was to make the book available to classmates, close friends, and family. However, many people who read Brittney’s story encouraged Scott to consider publishing the book. So he did that, too.
