Meet The Celebrity Authors Behind the Books

Rosemary Brown Distinguished Author & Minister of the Gospel My name is Rosemary Brown. I’m the daughter of the late Martin J. Sr., and Louise J. Smack, five siblings; two brothers; Martin and Allison Lamont, three sisters, the deceased Pastor Barbara Jackson, a twin sister, Rosemarie, and a younger sister Yolanda. I was born in Milford, DE, and raised by my parents in a small rural community, called Coverdale Crossroads, which is located outside the town of Bridgeville, Delaware. I am the mother of three daughters; Jackie, Katrina and Monshelle; four sons; Willie, Harlee, Elmer III and Travis; and also the wife of Elmer L. Brown my new husband, whom the Lord has joined us together as one. He is the love of my life.

Although I was raised in the church as a child, I received Christ as my Lord and Savior on June 3, 1979, at the age of 27. During that time, I joined Mt. Olive Baptist Church, located in Bridgeville, DE, where the late Reverend Benny Hickman was pastor over the church. For several years, I was a very active member and had served faithfully under that leadership.

During the early years when I first gave my life to Christ, the Lord called me to become an "Intercessor."

From there, the Lord moved me on, and on March 24, 1996, I joined Pilgrims’ Ministry of Deliverance, located in Georgetown, DE, where Apostle Ivory L. Hopkins is the founder and Overseer; and Pastor Levin V. Bailey has been appointed by the Lord as Bishop over the church. Under that leadership, the Lord called me into the ministry, and I became a Minister in training the year 2000. Two years later, I became a licensed Minister, and in 2006, the Lord laid it upon Apostle and Bishop Bailey’s heart to ordain me as a Minister of the Gospel.

I am currently an active member and also involved in several auxiliaries in the church. I served as vice-president, and then later became the president of the Praise & Worship team. Later, I was appointed by my Bishop, to teach the New Convert’s Class. My strong desire is to live for God, and to become all that I can be in Him. No matter what the devil tries to bring my way, I will serve the Lord for the rest of my days.

Thanks to God - for all the great things He’s done in my life; through the hard times as well as the good. He is the God of a BREAKTHROUGH!
