Karin Dovring, PhD Prominent Communications Analyst, Educator & Author Widely anthologized in both the U.S. and abroad, Karin Dovring has also won a prize in a Swedish national novel-writing contest as well as contributing numerous articles on communication analysis. Among her books are two classics, Road of Propaganda and English as Lingua-Franca: Double Talk in Global Persuasion. A former correspondent and international lecturer, she is listed in many editions of Who’s Who. She is an elected member of the Academy of American Poets.

Dr. Dovring is a communications analyst and Professor of Communications & Media Studies in the School of Journalism at the University of Illinois, Urbana – Champaign.
