Author, Attorney & European Independent Film Producer Joseph Steven was born in Milan, Italy, is a former New York criminal defense attorney and is still an active member of the bar. For the past fifteen years he has devoted himself to the production of independent films by specializing in the acquisition of financing in this country and Europe. |
| Credits include films for television in
Italy's RAI (Radio Televisione Italiana) and for Spain's TVE (Television Espanola) with Ornella Muti, Christian DeSica
(Vittorio DeSica's son), Claudia Cardinale, Gina Lollobrigida and others (1970-1990s). He has written two previous novels,
Spanish Enigma and Dancer In the Dark, and is currently finishing a third novel. Joseph has been recognized in
Who's Who of America and the International Who's Who. Married to Marisa for over 30 years and has a married daughter and
two grandchildren.
My aunt, Rita Levi-Montalcini, a research doctor, lives in Milan and is a member of the Italian Senate. She is 98 and the 1986 Nobel Prize Winner in Medicine for her research into the development of nerve cells. |
