Television Journalist, Poet & Novelist Hagin King has authored five books of poetry including: Abused - Poems from life's dark side; Secret Diary - Lost Poems; Caged - Trapped in confined places; Conscious/Conscience – Societal, and Awakening - Paradigms Challenged. | King graduated from Cal. State University in Sacramento, California,
where she began her career as a broadcast journalist; writing, hosting and producing a weekly television news program that
centered around social issues. Since relocating to Palm Beach, Florida, she has worked as both a broadcast and print journalist at newspapers and television stations throughout South Florida. King is a strong advocate for literacy; a family biographer and she conducts a "Beginning Writer's Workshop," which guides participants from organizing their thoughts to getting a manuscript ready for publication. "Our stories can lay dormant, entombed," Kings says, "I can soften the process of moving words from their raw state to commercial copy. King works with groups or individuals.
