Donald F. Eischen Ph.D.

Don
Eischen was born in Fresno, where he was formally educated in the
public schools and at California State University, Fresno, CA; Columbia
University, New York, New York; and Stanford University, Stanford,
California. Don taught at California State University, Fresno, Fresno
City College, and Supervised student teachers from the university for
Fresno Unified Schools until his retirement. He has received many
awards for his poetry and most recently was invited to read at the
Inauguration of President Clinton in 1997. In 1994 Don read his poetry
at the White House along with other poets to promote "Peace Through
Poetry." |
